Switching from PNB to PER — Online registration

If you already have the title of Basic Navigation Pattern (BNP), you can get the Recreational Craft Skipper (PER) more quickly and efficiently, since it validates part of the theory of the basic syllabus. This means you will only need to prepare the advanced modules of the PER and complete the complete mandatory internships, as required by official regulations.

With this registration you will secure your access to the reduced course, you will have personalized support and you can progress towards a qualification that significantly expands your nautical entitlements.

ImportantAlthough part of the theory is validated, The mandatory PER (Recreational Skipper's License) training courses are not validated. and must be carried out in full.

The regulations require carrying out the all of the practices of the PER even if you already have the GNP.

Permissions you will obtain upon transitioning to PER

The PER offers benefits that exceed the GNP:

• To command vessels up to 15 meters in length (extendable to 24 meters with additional practice).

• Navigate to 12 miles from the coast.

• Navigation between islands of the Balearic or Canary archipelago.

• With extension practice: navigation between Peninsula ↔ Balearic Islands.

• With sailing practice: sailing qualification for all titles.

Important information

• It is mandatory to provide the medical certificate for the issuance of the PER.

• You can practice before or after the exam.

• If you want sailing or an upgrade to 24m, you can add the optional practicals.
